We now offer the option to downgrade our 25-point/loci test to a classic 20-point (loci) test for a lower price of DKK 999. This test format was used over 15 years ago, but is still used by several competitors - often in collaboration with US laboratories.

However, be aware, that many of these labs store customers' DNA, names and addresses in registers. This is something we at Dnamedical.dk strongly disagrees. We guarantee that our customers' DNA data not being stored or used in registries. It was precisely this concern that led us to completely end our collaboration with laboratories in the US for paternity testing.

A modern 25 point/loci paternity test proves whether a person is the biological father of a child. DNA paternity tests are 100% accurate, the result means either 0% or +99.9999999% probability of paternity. The test includes 1 child and the possible father, the test subjects collect the sample material themselves easily and safely. Paternity testing can be performed by mouth swab immediately after the birth of the child. Additional test persons can be ordered for paternity testing if more children or possible fathers are to be tested.

There are many reasons why a father/child may want to be certain of their biological relationship. Some people suddenly realise after many years that the person they thought was their biological father may not be, others believe that their child does not resemble them genetically from birth, and women may need to test a father who may have been certain that he was the biological father for several years.

Your DNA kit for paternity testing includes instructions, sample collection swabs/envelopes for each test subject and a stamped reply envelope to return the samples. Should it take a long time from sample collection to return, this does not matter, as the DNA sample envelope is extremely stable. DNA kits for paternity tests are sent as regular mail, with a neutral sender.

Delivery of results/analysis is exclusively via e-mail/PDF document, as standard. This ensures the fastest possible delivery and the highest possible confidentiality. You can, of course, have the results delivered by normal post or by other means. Just specify this in the order comments when ordering.
